For the competency “Demonstrate the disposition for life-long learning and continuous professional development”, I have chosen my “Career Goals Presentation” from EDCI  as 52002 an artifact. In this artifact, I identify my career goals of becoming a textbook writer and a college professor. Throughout the presentation, I discuss resources that would be beneficial to aid in my professional development and how to keep current with new trends and technologies for education. This artifact also identifies a couple of organizations where I could find job opportunities to accomplish my career goals. This artifact builds on my previous experience by utilizing a couple of organizations that I have previously worked for or alongside for other purposes. I was able to use my experiences to know if these companies would be a good fit for a career or resource. I also found some new journals that would really help me keep current with the newest trends in education. As I gain more experience and professionalism, I could reach out to other companies for writing and teaching positions. I enjoyed this project because I got to research companies and journals that would benefit me personally through professional development and companies that align with my thoughts and goals to train future educators for teaching.
